- Camp packets are available on the website. Click on "Camp Information" in the left navigation section to read and print the information.
- Money will be paid up front for lottery tickets.
- We need everyone to help with the lottery ticket sales in order for us to continue to supoprt our teams.
- Take lots of pictures this season so that we can include them in our End of the Season video.
- All pictures taken with a digital camera would be greatly appreciated for the website. Please forward any digital pictures to Coach Devinney for posting.
Cross Country Parents & Runners,
For anyone who wasn't able to make it to the meeting on May 23, we discussed several things. The booster financial situation is not a good one. We discussed several things to reduce our costs mainly expenses with our banquet. We have also raised the cost of the camp. It will be $70.00 for high school runners and $20.00 for middle school runners. This is still very reasonable when you look at the fact that everything is provided for the kids. All they have to do is bring their personal items and running gear. We have also made a camp t-shirt available to high school runners only. This is optional and the cost is $12.00. Please include your child's shirt size.
We will need a few more volunteers for meals up at camp. Jean Vaccarello has offered her time for lunch and dinner on Monday. We could use 2 more parents for each meal as we will have the middle school runners there for the day. Kathye Engberg and Marianne Gaus have offered their time for lunch on Tuesday. We need 2 people for dinner on Tuesday. We have a car wash on Friday, August 6, from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM at Advance Auto Parts on Route 8.
We do expect each runner to volunteer a couple of hours.
Lottery tickets have been ordered. We will be handing them out at the kick-off meeting which is tentatively scheduled for Monday, August 22, at 7:00 PM.
This meeting is mandatory for parents/guardians.
We are also looking for someone to step forward to take over as Booster President(s) after the 2005 season as we will be stepping down.
